Alexandra "Alex" N. Rose
Alex Rose is an associate at McConnell Van Pelt, providing litigation support in healthcare litigation. She has over 12 years of experience in civil litigation defending and prosecuting civil claims in federal and diverse state courts.
Ms. Rose’s practice focuses primarily on defense of physicians and hospitals in professional negligence and malpractice actions. She also advises hospitals and health care institutions on policies and procedures relating to safety and privacy.
Ms. Rose has litigated a broad spectrum of complex civil matters, including products liability, trademark infringement, aviation manufacturing and accidents, employment, healthcare, dentalcare and pharmaceutical litigation, and business contracts disputes. She also has extensive experience in government investigations and internal employment, manufacturing, and transactional investigations.
Prior to beginning practice as an attorney, Ms. Rose worked for the Texas Legislature and Office of the Governor, primarily in law enforcement policy. She trained in advanced mediation and intercultural negotiation strategies in Texas and abroad. Ms. Rose uses her mediation, investigation, negotiation, and public relations skills developed in this environment daily in her legal practice.
Alex Rose is admitted to practice in Colorado and Texas, as well as the United States District Court for the District of Colorado and the United States District Courts for the Northern, Southern, Eastern and Western Districts of Texas. She has litigated in diverse state and federal courts in states including Colorado, Texas, California, Illinois, Alabama, Louisiana, Florida, South Carolina, New Mexico, and New York.
Ms. Rose believes in lawyers taking roles of service and activism in their communities. She has served as a court-appointed advocate for children experiencing foster care through CASA in Texas, as a board member for HousingFirst Lab in Colorado, and as a Precinct Chair in local elections. When she is not practicing law, she loves to hike, ski, travel, read and spend time with her husband, two kids and two dogs.
